    From freshman students working on their first research assignment to faculty doing in-depth research, we can help you find the resources you need.
     
  • Borrow Library Materials
    The Library has a large variety of resources we can lend out to you and for things that we don't have, we can help request them from other libraries.
     
  • Help you study for your classes
    Bierce Library provides space for individual and group study and has tutoring available on the ground floor.
     
  • Provide laptops, computers, and other technological assistance
    Find computers and printers available to use in the library, checkout laptops, and get help from the IT Service Desk in the Library.
     
  • Amenities
    To help create a relaxed and welcoming environment. Get coffee, relax in our sensory space, microwave your lunch, and more.
     
  • Faculty/Staff specific services
    Request course reserves, instruction from your class from a librarian, materials for the library to acquire, and more.
     
  • MakerStudio
    Includes 3D printers, poster printer, a button maker, and knowledgeable student assistants to help create new things.
     
  • Community Patron IconAlumni and Community Members
    As an alumni or community member, you are able to checkout books, use computers, and access electronic resources.

Service Desk

The Service Desk can answer your questions and help you better utilize all of our different services. Here is where you can check out books, find office supplies you can use (e.g. staplers and dry erase markers), and ask for help. The Service Desk is located on the first floor of Bierce Library (behind the main staircase as you are walking in).
