Reserve a Study Room

Study Rooms are great for individual study or for studying as a small group. You can reserve a study room online for up to four hours per day, or use any study room you see that is unoccupied. All study rooms include seating for 1-6 people (depending on the room capacity), dry erase boards, and power outlets.

Reserve a Learning Studio

For UA faculty, staff, or student groups that need a larger space, we suggest booking a Learning Studio.

Tutoring

Tutoring on a wide variety of subjects is available on the ground floor of Bierce Library. There is also Online Tutoring available. For more information about tutoring services at UA visit the Tutoring Services website.

Different Floors of the Library

Different floors of the library are ideal for different types of studying.

  • Ground Floor - Great for studying in a group and includes study rooms for individual study and smaller groups. Has chalkboards, whiteboards, and tables where you can connect your computer to a TV screen to possibly discuss a group presentation.

  • First Floor - Great for studying in a group or if you need a computer, a printer/copier, or a projector. Study rooms on this floor are bigger and have whiteboards as well as projectors. The Service Desk has office supplies available to use.

  • Second Floor - Has many study rooms to accommodate individuals or small groups. Also has plenty of large tables for bigger groups as well as whiteboards. This floor is quieter than the first or ground floor.

  • Third Floor - The library's quiet floor, for individual focused study. Has plenty of study rooms and study carrels.
