Search the Archives' Collections

To search the archival collections, type a keyword into the search bar and click the "Search" button.

To narrow the search to a specific topic, select a subject from the "Select a Category" drop-down menu before clicking "Search."

To search collections beginning with a certain letter, select the letter from the A-Z List above the search bar.

Archives Description

Archives and Special Collections at The University of Akron collects, preserves, and provides access to important historical resources that primarily document the history of the following topics:

  • Akron and Summit County
  • The rubber industry
  • Lighter-than-air flight
  • Ohio canals
  • The book and print culture
  • The B-26 Marauder and the 9th Air Force
