Upcoming Library Changes

List of Changes

The University Libraries will be undergoing several significant changes to our online presence within the next year. These changes include updates to our website, catalog and EBSCO databases. We are excited for these changes and our hopeful that they will lead to a better experience for all of our users.

  • University Libraries Homepage Website Refresh
Part of the larger UA website redesign, our goal is to make our homepage easier to navigate as well as provide more information on news and events at the library. Our secondary pages (Services, Resources, Help, About) should mostly stay the same since these have been updated recently. The current timeline is to have this completed in the summer of 2025, but that might change. To see the progress for the overall website redesign visit University Communication's Website Redesign status page.

  • New Interface for ZipSearch/Library Catalog
A new interface for finding journal articles, books, streaming videos and other library resources. Set to go-live in June 2025

  • New Interface for EBSCO Databases
A new interface for databases like Academic Search Complete, CINAHL, Business Source Complete, and other EBSCO databases. Set to go-live in June 2025.
