Finding Books

Many of the library's books are in e-book format. To locate those as well as print books, begin in Library Search. Use a "Keyword" search to find relevant books. You can also search by Title or Author.

You can also search the OhioLINK Library Catalog for books in the collections of over 100 OhioLINK consortium libraries..

Search for materials owned by UA Libraries.
SearchOhio
A catalog for finding resources owned by SearchOhio libraries (many are public libraries). Find material that the University of Akron libraries and other OhioLINK-member libraries do not own.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
From time to time, you may need a book that is unavailable in our collection, OhioLINK, and SearchOhio. In these cases, you can request it through ILL.
