Locate Reviews of Books in the OhioLINK Catalog

The OhioLINK Library Catalog includes a special feature allowing users to view additional information about select items. 

If you locate an item in the catalog that includes a picture of the cover, you can click on the cover for additional information including any of the following:

  • Cover image
  • Summary
  • Excerpts
  • Table of Contents
  • Reviews

Use the OhioLINK Catalog search box below (change the search to title from the drop-down menu) to see if your item has a cover image with additional information.

Locate Book Reviews

Go to an online book store and look for editorial or professional reviews (rather than customer reviews):

Locate reviews out of periodicals using a periodical database:

Academic Search Complete

  • Perform a phrase search for the title of the work or the author
  • Too many results? Consider limiting results to document type: book review
