Home Delivery Available

UA students, faculty, and staff may request physical materials (e.g., books, CDs, DVDs) via UPS to be mailed to their home address free of charge.
To request a book:

 

  • Go to the UA Libraries’ Catalog: http://library.search.uakron.edu/
  • Search for the item you are interested in using a keyword, the title of the item, or the author's name
  • Near the top of the item record page, click the “Request" button
  • From the Request page, select “(Choose a Pickup Location)“ and “Home Delivery” 

  • Click Submit

The borrower is responsible for return shipping or they can return items to a University of Akron Library (Bierce, UA Wayne, Law) or a regional satellite location (i.e., UA Lakewood, UA Medina). Please contact the UA University Libraries Services Desk at (330) 972-5355 for more details.
