Susan DiRenzo Ashby

Susan DiRenzo Ashby has been a member of the University Libraries faculty, at The University if Akron since December 1998. She currently serves as Public Services & Government Information Librarian and serves as FDLP Coordinator for Bierce Library, a title she has held since 2021. Her previous appointments at The University of include Coordinator, Library Systems (1998–2024) and Interim Head of Cataloging (2006–2011). Prior to joining The University of Akron, she led Electronic Services at Archbishop Alter Library, Mount St. Joseph University (1996–1998). Susan holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Classical and Medieval Studies, from Cleveland State University.
