RStudio
R is a popular and widely used program for statistics computing and graphics. RStudio is an active member of the R community and has a good interface for non-expert users.
Tableau for Students
Tableau is a popular data visualization program. Students can get a free one-year license by registering at this site.
UA Virtual Labs (hosted software)
A server hosted virtual desktop with many popular statistics programs. SPSS 24, Minitab 18, SAS 9.4, and JMP Pro 13 are available in the Statistics instance and MATLAB is available in the Engineering instance. (UAnet authentication required)

Need GIS?
UA has a subscription to ArcGIS. To access it, use the virtual labs and select the most recent "engineering" option. The software is cloud based, and this link opens a virtual desktop.
