Mike Monaco is Head of the Technical Services department of University Libraries. His responsibilities include coordinating the work of cataloging, acquisitions, and systems personnel to meet the University Libraries' mission, creating and documenting policies and procedures, authority work, and cataloging materials in various formats, tangible and electronic. He holds a Master of Library & Information Science and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Kent State University. His research interests include authority control, automation, and quality control in bibliographic utilities.
