Some takeaways:

  • Check for the year that the webpage was updated (that is, not the reviewed year nor the copyright year). If there is no date, use (n.d.). 

  • If there is a specific date (day, month, year), it might be a blog, a periodical, or another source type. If yes, review the examples of these source types to guide you.

  • Look for the "About Us" or "Contact Us" webpages or section of the webpages to identify the author, group author, or organizational entity responsible for maintaining/producing the webpage.
